this guitar body is being discounted being after edge routing around the neck pocket there was a small tear out with no real material loss, so there's epoxy putty filler(shown)
If using dark stain most likely won't even be noticeable but otherwise painting this body will of course cover it up
Many available pickguards for this including warmoth I've used them many times they fit perfect
